About

Status Hat, a monthly artszine featuring art, writing and music is published by Status Hat Productions, an arts collaborative based in Charlottesville, Virginia. As an organization, Status Hat is interested in the vital importance of the art experience in everyday life, and in creating and facilitating the time, space and resources for that experience across world-wide communities. It is our hope that our online publications help us serve this cause. Our 'zine (Status Hat) has been publishing since 2009, featuring themed content from a spectrum of styles, by artists and writers at many different stages of their creative work.
