About this Organization

The Poetry Society of Louisiana is a not-for-profit organization which exists to foster, generate, and promote literary excellence and the role of poetry in the life of Louisiana’s diverse communities. With an ear tuned to vivid effect, fullness of thought, emotional dynamism, and language that brims, PS.o.L . intends to employ readings, publications, contests, community outreach, and an interactive presence on the web to achieve these ends.
