His short story collection, Voices from the Wildwood Diner, was chosen as one of twelve finalists for the 2022-2023 Hidden River Press Hawk Mountain Short Story Collection Award and also by Acre Books. His first novel, Oreads, published through Roundfire Books, was chosen as a finalist for the Lascaux Review Fiction Prize 2017. His short stories have been finalists, longlisted, or shortlisted for more than several literary awards, including the Bosque Fiction Contest, New Letters Literary Awards, and Fish Publishing Fiction Awards.
