Kaitlyn Downing—part fairy, part mermaid, and part cat—lives in Florida with her husband and four cats, though her soul inhabits her pool or her garden when she’s not teaching English. Most recently, her work has appeared in Hemlock, 34 Orchard, Corner Bar Magazine, and The Wise Owl, among others. Links to her published work are on her website kaitlyndowning.com.
