About

We are a Baltimore, Maryland based traditional publisher with rock solid values and principles. This means we do not charge authors for our services. If your work is accepted we will publish it according to our assessment of the market and ensure it is professionally designed and made widely available. We only aim to publish each year a small number of carefully selected titles which we believe can be marketed effectively. We will occasionally work with authors when we feel a work has promise but needs some fine tuning but we can not undertake major editing projects. We are not necessarily looking for the next NYT's Best Seller but neither are we searching for the next ramblings of a narcissist - unless you are out there and really need us Hillary, and then of course we're here for you babe, really. Rather we are actively publishing solid novels (and other good stuff) by good story tellers in a mutually beneficial relationship so that we can all make at least tens of dollars. Hey, be realistic here. This is a tough business.

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Duotrope listings do not imply endorsement or recommendation of the project being listed. Before submitting, you should use your own judgment to determine whether the project meets your standards.

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • For book publishers, it is standard to submit a cover letter, synopsis, and sample instead of the full manuscript. Do this unless otherwise instructed.
  • Be professional, patient, and persistent.
