We started our annual Micro-Chapbook Series back in 2016 as a way to provide our readers with free poetry throughout the summer. Supporting the online-lit community can be expensive and this was a way for us to help introduce new writers to the community, to help established writers find a broader audience, and to help raise money for all of the writers and artists involved. We now release one micro-chapbook each weekday throughout the summer. Every title released as part of the Summer Series is available as a free PDF download on our website. In addition to downloading the collections of poetry, fiction, and cross-genre work, you also have the option of donating to any of the writers involved, and the best part is that they get to keep 100% of what’s donated to them. Some of our authors have even chosen to forward their donations to various charity organizations (these are noted on their individual micro-chap pages).

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Duotrope listings do not imply endorsement or recommendation of the project being listed. Before submitting, you should use your own judgment to determine whether the project meets your standards.

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • For book publishers, it is standard to submit a cover letter, synopsis, and sample instead of the full manuscript. Do this unless otherwise instructed.
  • Be professional, patient, and persistent.
