We provide the following information as an archive. About We like to imagine that Resurrection House is more than a simple conduit between author and audience. We believe there is magic to be found in the pages of a physical book, and seek to embrace the historical delight of print while still experimenting with the novelty of the future. We wholeheartedly subscribe to the notion that reading is not only sexy, but it makes your brain bigger as well, and the ability to make our brains bigger is woefully under appreciated in this day and age. Country of Publication United States Publication Medium Print Publication Print Publication Fiction Closed Resurrection House is always keen on previously unpublished novel-length works of science fiction, fantasy, dark fantasy, and noir mystery with a tinge of otherworldliness—and the occasional bit of horror. We are not terribly rigorous in our definitions of these genres. We prefer character-driven pieces but don't mind being kept up late due to a tightly wound, plot-driven book. Our interest is piqued by material that is not strictly beholden to the history of and/or culture of Western European civilization.Audience:Open to a broad Audience.Genres: Fantasy Open to all/most Subgenres, including: Dark Fantasy Horror Open to all/most Subgenres Mystery/Crime Subgenre: Noir Science Fiction Open to all/most SubgenresLengths: Novel: 40,000 - 100,000 words.Styles:Open to all/most Styles, including: Experimental, Literary, Mainstream.Topics: Open to all/most Topics.Payment:Unknown advance + Unknown royalties Unknown advance.
