About

I started Stygian Publications, LLC, in 2007 with a plan to do all kinds of things. What I did do with the help of a lot of incredible people is create a fantastic short fiction magazine called Necrotic Tissue that was committed to fast turnaround times on submissions, paying writers on time, selecting the best stories possible and treating writers with respect. I may do a short fiction project at some point in the future, but for now, Stygian Publications is going to focus on novellas and novels with the same goals we had at NT. Since self-publishing has become so prevalent, new and established writers often ask why they should go through a publisher at all. The reason I choose to go through a publisher as a writer is that I believe I can put out a better product and learn more as a writer by working with others.
