Founded in 1952 with the publication of Anna Ella Carroll and Abraham Lincoln by Sydney and Marjorie Greenbie, The University of Tampa Press has been dedicated to the publication of books and journals featuring poetry, fiction and non-fiction from Florida and around the globe. The University launched its literary journal UT Poetry Review in 1964, which evolved into Tampa Review in 1988. It is the oldest continuously published literary journal in Florida.
