Tiny Tree Books

A project of A. H. Stockwell

About

Tiny Tree Books is an imprint of Arthur H Stockwell, publishers since 1898, that specialises in children’s literature and picture books. Tiny Tree has spent almost a decade working with exciting new authors and illustrators to build a brand that focuses on producing wonderful books with something to say. Beginning with a wide range of picture books for young readers, our list has expanded over the years to include exciting and engaging titles for all age groups.

We love working collaboratively with all of our contributors to make sure that their vision is brought to life in the best way possible. Our approach to our authors and our readers has created a wonderful family atmosphere that keeps people coming back to support us in creating more.

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Duotrope listings do not imply endorsement or recommendation of the project being listed. Before submitting, you should use your own judgment to determine whether the project meets your standards.

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • For book publishers, it is standard to submit a cover letter, synopsis, and sample instead of the full manuscript. Do this unless otherwise instructed.
  • Be professional, patient, and persistent.
