About

Some of the biggest challenges most traditionally published authors face are unfair royalty structures and creative stifling. The biggest challenge of self-publishing is that you have to face everything alone. Tuxtails Publishing is designed to help authors avoid all of these issues by combining the benefits of a traditional publishing house with the freedom that self-publishing brings. We are a small publisher with big ideas about how to make the publishing process fairer for authors, while still providing readers with polished, professional-looking books that have the potential to appear on bookshelves right alongside those from bigger, better-known companies. Unlike other publishing houses that may be run by someone who has never picked up a pen to write in their life, Tuxtails Publishing was founded by an author for authors. Our priorities are the stories, the writers, and their readers, not the company’s bottom line.
