About

joined Felicity Bryan Associates in 2023 from London Literary Scouting, where I specialised in children’s, YA, and SFF and worked closely with publishers and media companies around the world. I am actively building a list that spans middle grade and YA fiction across all genres, commercial adult fiction, and romance and fantasy for all ages.

I am on the hunt for stories that are smart, commercial and bold; books with fresh and exciting concepts whose voices can cross borders and speak out about important topics in an accessible and authentic manner.

In YA, I’m open to all genres and particularly interested in character-driven stories with lively storytelling, a strong emotional core and attention-grabbing premises. Books I’ve recently enjoyed include Songlight by Moira Buffini, A Tempest of Tea by Hafsah Faizal and Gwen and Art are Not in Love by Lex Croucher. In middle grade, I am drawn to sweeping adventures, imaginative worlds and stories with heart in the vein of Kiran Millwood Hargrave, Elle McNicoll and Abi Elphinstone. At the moment, I am particularly keen to find a fantasy adventure that has the ambition and scale of Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials.

On the adult side, I am looking for page-turning fiction with irresistible characters and a strong hook, from commercial to book club fiction. I’m particularly interested in voice-led romance with emotional depth that feels addictive, in the vein of Emily Henry and Ali Hazelwood. In fantasy, I am looking for stories that combine wide commercial appeal with a unique concept, immersive world-building and writing that feels escapist. Recent favourites include The Book of Doors by Gareth Brown, The Crimson Moth by Kristen Ciccarelli and Shanghai Immortal by A. Y. Chao.

I am also open to working with authors within the romance and fantasy genres who have previously self-published, particularly if they have a TikTok or online presence. I’m not the best agent for hard sci-fi and hefty epic/military fantasy with multiple-POVs. I’m not open to picture books and illustrated fiction.
