Mia Vitale

An agent with Park, Fine & Brower Literary Management (see other agents at this agency).

About

Mia Vitale’s list includes New York Times bestselling memoirs by Kelly Bishop and Gracie Gold, platform-driven essay collections by Eli Rallo, wellness experts including Jillian Turecki and Dr. Ellen Vora, critically acclaimed fiction by Sonya Walger, forthcoming cookbooks from social media stars Maxine Sharf and Toni Chapman, and forthcoming women’s fiction by Amy DuBois Barnett and Danielle McKechnie. Mia is looking for smart books for smart women. In fiction, she is seeking character-driven stories, stories that play with form, and your book club’s next read.

Prior to working in publishing, Mia worked at several non-profit theaters in Chicago. After three and a half years at The Wylie Agency, where she worked on literary fiction, narrative nonfiction, and with literary estates, she joined the team at Park & Fine (now Park, Fine & Brower) in 2021.

Originally from Chicago, she is a graduate of Harvard University and the Columbia Publishing Course. She lives in Brooklyn and is a theater enthusiast.

Agent Impersonation Scams are becoming commonplace.
A legitimate agent will not contact you and request money to represent you. Never pay an agent an up-front fee. That is not how literary agent representation works. Agents earn a commission only after they've landed a publishing deal for you. Also, agents scarcely ever contact writers. If an agent that you haven't queried contacts you about representation, be suspicious. Look up the agent and check if the email address is correct for that agent/agency.
