About

Victoria Wells Arms began her publishing career as an editor and was founding Editorial Director at Bloomsbury USA Children's Books. She started her own literary agency, Wells Arms Literary in 2013, which was thrilled to join HG Literary in 2018.

Victoria represents authors of children's books for all ages, a few adult authors, and many talented picture book illustrators. Her clients include Charlotte Agell, E. D. Baker, Chris Barton, Miya T. Beck, Nora Shalaway Carpenter, Gail Donovan, Patrick Downes, Crescent Dragonwagon, David Macinnis Gill, Ben Gundersheimer, Liz Heinecke, Darcy Marks, Jamie Michalak, Sandra Nickel, Han Nolan, Sonia Patel, Marcella Pixley, Candice Ransom, Lizzy Rockwell, Susan L. Roth, Mitali Banerjee Ruths and many more. Victoria has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, where she continues to speak regularly about professional development in the publishing industry. She is a member of the AALA, PEN America, and SCBWI.
