Dark Fairy Tales Revisited Series A project of Horrified Press (see other related projects). Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions. We provide the following information as an archive. About Humpty Dumpty fell off a wall? Are you sure he wasn’t pushed? Perhaps his frail state made him easy pickings for some relative to bump off. Perhaps he had a secret fortune in his will just waiting for the wrong sibling with the right motive. What about Alice? Now there’s a girl who took her mushrooms seriously. What if Little Red had been a dictator and the wolves her sullen subjects? Too many variables and too little time when it comes to the reinvention of the familiar fairy tale… just go dark… No taboos, just let your imagination run wild. Dark fairy tales, bizarre, horror, surrealism, dark science-fiction and steam punk are all cool here.
