About

I'm looking for non-fiction and fiction stories and poems that are about the many ways we use our bodies, from all types of sports and exercise to cleaning house, dancing to painting, hiking to taking care of a sick person, playing a musical instrument to skydiving, playing with your kids to giving birth, performing in a play to building something, scuba diving to working in the garden. You get the idea. I want submissions that are about your body's actions – how its isolated parts move, or how it moves as a whole - as you or someone else you have observed do something specific. Paint a picture of what you or they are doing and what are the body movements required to do it. Think about how you or they use the hands, arms, fingers, feet, legs, hips, back, etc. to get what is being done accomplished. I want self-awareness, observation, drama, humor. . .and creativity.
