Pets Are People Too

A project of Fey Publishing (see other related projects).

Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions. We provide the following information as an archive.

About

There is nothing like the bond between a human and their beloved pet. Fey Publishing is looking to create an anthology about our most loyal companions. The stories can feature the traditional pets such as dogs, cats, or horses... But they may also feature more unique pets as well (chickens, goats, hamsters, you name it). Mythological creatures will also be allowed for this anthology as long as the story shows the bond between human and animal and doesn’t merely focus on the creature itself. We want stories that are considered science fiction, fantasy and speculative fiction, so something a little different than just your typical heartwarming pet stories. Horror can also be included, but no graphic animal abuse please. The story must contain a positive owner/pet relationship regardless of the outcome (meaning not all stories have to be happily ever after).
