About

Gracefully built and evocatively rendered, the sonnet offers an aesthetic delight like no other form of poetry. Its uniqueness lies in its terse structure that precariously balances the exuberance of fluidity that its subject might evoke, and its rhythm that enthusiastically responds to the sonic freedom of the letters of an alphabet. Even though modern poetry has witnessed the construction of various poetic genres and forms to meet the needs of a malleable literary landscape, sonnets continue to remain in fashion, challenging poets time and again to send their Muses to find true passion in their being.
