About

For “Unspeakable”, we are inviting stories centred on/around a character who has done a crime that society regards as “unspeakable“. Stories of ALL GENRES are invited. Be it a social drama wherein a poacher of endangered animals is blaming their poverty and the corruption of the system for his crimes; or a taut suspense thriller where an obsessed police detective chases a brutal serial killer. It can be chilling horror story of a King (or Count) who used to drink their subjects’ blood, resurrected in the modern age to wreak havoc and serve as an allegory critiquing the powers that be! Or it could be a romance where the heroine falls for an amnesiac charmer, and their happily ever after is ruined when it is revealed that, before losing his memory, he used to be an assassin for hire! PLEASE NOTE that this is an anthology with a THEME. ONLY those pieces that feature a character who has done an unspeakable crime, shall be considered for publication.
