About

Verse of April is the digital anthology of homage to the poets and was established in 2015 in Paris, France. We believe that practicing the act of homage, to poets of today and yesterday, is a powerful life force in art-making and helps us reflect on the mystic or explicit influence certain writers have on our approach to thinking and seeing. Verse of April is a multi-media platform, ensuring that people from any kind of expression feel welcome to pay tribute to the poets. Through our annual publication, we hope to encourage and expand international exchange in poetry and to celebrate the diverse beauty of the art.
Verse of April is honored to be a space for artists to showcase their work of homage to the poets. We promise to uphold and inspire a loving, ethical, and intersectional community.
