Y Poetry A project of Local Gems Poetry Press (see other related projects). This project is believed to be defunct. (December 2015) About Y Poetry aims to give a voice to a generation that is coming into its own. As the feats that define a generation emerge out of the world they are born into, the anthology seeks to illuminate the literary and artistic contributions of Generation Y, drawing attention to the emerging ideas, motivations, and beliefs that are shaping our global future. The anthology provides a platform on which stereotypes can be challenged and messages can be shared, messages that will hopefully change our world. We invite you to join us in this effort as we attempt to aggrandize the beauty, intelligence, strength, and power that truly define Generation Y.
