BOOM Chapbook Contest A project of Bateau Press (see other related projects). About All of our chapbooks are handmade works of art. They are really beautiful books. We look for writers who are unafraid of risk, who have new stories to tell, and/or don’t give a shit about any of this stuff. In the end, what we are searching for is elusive. Look at the people we've published before. Take some time. Sharpen your work. Make it ravishing. Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for all submissions. The fee is USD $16 (average for contests).
