About

Revue {R}évolution is a polymath review of poetry, art, philosophy, and mythology based in New York with branches in London and Paris. Our goal is to revive classical poetry and renaissance art. Our poetic spectrum spans from Vyasa to Dante to William Blake to Charles Baudelaire. We publish poets who not only recognize their genius, but seek inspiration from them. We believe in the authority of the master-disciple relationship in the fine arts and revere masters of the past who have ignited our desire to become creators in their image. In art, our founding fathers and mothers are painters of the European Renaissance as well as all the anonymous artists who have selflessly crafted humanity’s places of worship where not only the Divine but also Beauty can be felt and worshiped. We expect poets, artists, storytellers, and thinkers who submit to Revue {R}évolution to display strong intellectual and artistic skills, to be polymaths or aspirant polymaths themselves, that is, to treat creation as a science. Please take the time to read us before you submit. Make sure we are a good fit.
