About What I am looking for in this anthology is something off the beaten path: strange tales about the struggle between man and the animal-beasts of myth and legend. I am looking for horror, so that means scary. Please nothing campy, or written with the inference that it might make a really bad "B" movie. I'm not looking for "The Poodle Monster from Camp Kickapoo". You may be as creative as your heart desires, and the more bizarre and gripping, the higher the chance of acceptance. I am looking for stories that have a very strong supernatural element, are highly descriptive, and have good plot and character development. The meat of this anthology will not be werewolf stories, but if you insist on going that route I will take a few if they are exceptional. What I want is something original, so surprise me! ONE poem or flash fiction piece will also be accepted with which to open the antho.
