About

Exorcists of the Dead seeks chilling, original horror stories about possession and the people who confront it. Priests, shamans, skeptics, occult scholars, disgraced clergy, reluctant mediums, hardened investigators or ordinary individuals forced into the role of an exorcist. We want tales where someone must face the unthinkable and attempt to drive out the darkness from another.

Possessions may be demonic, spiritual, psychological, folkloric, cosmic or something entirely new.

We are looking for stories that are eerie, atmospheric, psychologically intense or terrifying. Religious, scientific, cultural and unconventional approaches to exorcism are all welcome
