About

Wicked Shadow Press invites dark romance fiction submissions for publication in its anthology "Soulmate Syndrome" (Expected release: March 2024). Feel free to use an idea of your own or take inspiration from one of our writing prompts below: 1) A detective starts a romance with a charismatic individual who is secretly the mastermind behind a series of crimes she is investigating. 2) In a world destroyed by war, a survivor trusts and falls for a leader who turns out to be the ruthless tyrant responsible for the apocalypse. 3) A career-driven man falls for a seemingly perfect woman, only to discover he is being used as a pawn in a corporate espionage attempt. 4) A wandering spirit of a hopeless romantic is entranced by a living woman. The only way he can think of possessing her is by possessing her. 5) A perfect couple’s relationship is tested when they start receiving mysterious letters predicting their break-up. Will the prophecy of this doomed romance tear them apart? 6) Muses are supposed to be women—that's what Amelia thought before she found the man who opened her mind. As a whirlwind romance begins, the reality of who he really is begins to take her to the darkest corners of her mind. All subgenres are invited, with the theme being 'dark romance'.
