Editor Interview: Religious Education

We publish work within the intersections of religion and education, which means that our authors take into account the particular ways religion (across diverse traditions) and education ) (across diverse theoretical paradigms) influence each other. What does it mean to educate religiously in a religiously plural world? What forms of pedagogy have particular traction for educating religiously? How does the subject matter of religious education shape pedagogies? Our authors provide critical scholarly reflection from their interdisciplinary expertise in religion, theology, religious studies, philosophy, and education. At the same time, our readers and contributors include practitioners who bring knowledge from practice to bear on the field of RE.

Read and follow the author guidelines on the journal website. Make sure your argument is clear and cogent for someone not already immersed in the literature you reference. If you are not a native English speaker, consider using a language editing service or having a native speaker of English review your paper for fluency and clarity of meaning before you submit it. Do not submit a paper that exceeds the word count limit with a rationale for why your work needs to be the exception to the limit. Write your passion for the subject matter you've chosen!
