Q: What sets your publication apart from others that publish similar material?
A: We are open to publishing quite surreal, offbeat pieces, and also have a wide variety of different writing styles, eg play & novel extracts, flash fiction, poetic prose, etc.
Q: What is the best advice you can give people who are considering submitting work to your publication?
A: Read a copy of the magazine to see the kind of work we like to publish.

A: One that follows our submission guidelines to the letter
Q: What do submitters most often get wrong about your submissions process?
A: Submitting by snail mail without an SAE.
Q: How much do you want to know about the person submitting to you?
A: We like to have a bio, but we are as open to new talent as previously published writers.
Q: If you publish writing, how much of a piece do you read before making the decision to reject it?
A: Most pieces are read in full.
Q: What additional evaluations, if any, does a piece go through before it is accepted?
A: Sometimes, if a piece hangs in the balance, another editor will review it.
Q: What is a day in the life of an editor like for you?
A: I am not the main submissions reading editor.
Q: How important do you feel it is for publishers to embrace modern technologies?
A: Extremely important - our magazine is available online as a PDF and also to read online through the online document browser Issuu.
