Steph Thwaites has been an agent at Curtis Brown for over 20 years after joining as an intern in 2003, and is currently the Head of the Book Department. She joined shortly after studying English literature at Leeds University and McGill University. She knew from the first day that agenting was the dream job, and Curtis Brown was the ideal company – so she never left! She loves working closely with writers and also with creative talent and storytellers from across the entertainment world to help develop ideas, often from an embryonic stage, and help bring those stories to light.
