I publish fiction and poetry that is surreal, atmospheric and can be macabre, mostly about death. We also publish music reviews.

Please read an issue to get a feeling of what I publish.

Sending me simultaneous submissions when in the guidelines it says specifically NOT to.

I like cover letters and reading about previous submissions, etc. I find it interesting and a lot of the time impressive, though it doesn't matter much in my decision to accept or reject the story. I read everything that is sent to me regardless of a cover letter or not. I like it when people know I'm the editor and address me accordingly.

I usually can tell within the first couple of paragraphs. If it's written poorly I'll automatically reject it. Otherwise I read everything to the end. If it's not something I feel will fit in the ezine or if it's not written well overall I'll reject it.

Taylor forwards all fiction and poetry submissions to my email address so I can read them. I just work my way from the oldest to the newest.

I don't. I don't have time to edit. If the story isn't written well I'll automatically reject it. I'm not going to edit your story for you. It should be ready to publish when you send it to me.

No. I've never thought of doing that. Maybe I will in the future.
