If you publish art, who are your favorite artists?Lee Hope, Editor-in-chief on 06 October 2010What sets your publication apart from others that publish similar material?We are a 501 (3) nonfprofit and have a mission to publish previously published writers along with up-and-coming writers and writers on the margins; that is, selected writers from prisons, veteran's groups, writers on probation or parole, rehab groups and so on. We're looking for writers of diverse backgrounds, whether that is economic class or ethnic or cultural or political.Lee Hope, Editor-in-chief on 06 October 2010What is the best advice you can give people who are considering submitting work to your publication?We're looking for writing that takes on our culture, that extends the genres of poetry or fiction. We're looking for literary fiction and genre fiction, the mystery. We are open to book excerpts, if they stand alone. We're very into editing and sometimes give suggestions to the writer. Sometimes we discuss a piece.
