There is no one writer or artist we'd call as favorite ones. We admire those artists and writers the most who are talented - ie independent, hard-working, thoughtful, persistent, brave.

Panel magazine is a unique publication in English that represents and highlights the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
We consider not only pieces that have been produced in the region, but also those that were inspired by these lands.
We truly believe in the artistic potential and strength of Central and Eastern Europe.

Write, redraft, proofread. If you are not a native speaker, take extra time to proofread.
Don't try to be original when it comes to formatting the piece.
Read the guidelines.

We're not looking for the perfection :) Our hearts sing with joy when we work with talented and professional writers and artists.
Simple as that -- talented and professional :)

when we accept or reject the submission, though, we look at the writing, not the credits.

We tend to read to the end.

Each piece usually goes through the editing process. Because so many of our submissions come from non-native speakers or previously unpublished writers, almost everything we publish gets a polish. We take a hands-on approach to editing and sometimes our feedback is extensive.
