We read every piece completely and thoughtfully before reaching a decision, even if we suspect it is not a good fit.James Stuart, Founding Editor on 27 September 2023What additional evaluations, if any, does a piece go through before it is accepted?None beyond the merit of the work. Occasionally, we will as clarifying questions and take alternative circumstances into account, but ultimately we rely on the strength of every piece as written.James Stuart, Founding Editor on 27 September 2023What is a day in the life of an editor like for you?We are a volunteer board, so our days rarely look the same. We all wear multiple hats, and we try to share the workload and obligations equally. We love what we do!James Stuart, Founding Editor on 27 September 2023How much do you edit an accepted piece prior to publication?We have a multi-tiered editorial process that leaves room for artistic license and individuality while ensuring we only publish work of the highest quality.
