We love all the publications out there, but to name a few, Raw Lit, Stripes Literary, FLARE, Exposed Bone, JAKE, and many others

We publish both writers and artists alongside photographers as well. The most favorite artists that we’ve published so far are Hayley Massena, Lana Grushnik, and Hikari, and the writers/poets would be Kristine Amundrud, Kalpesh Desai, Stephen Buttigieg, Allison Cundiff, Mehrsa Karimi, Maria Mecham, and Michael Barrington, to name a few. There are so many, but these are the ones that surfaced in my mind.

We don’t really know how to answer that, as all the publications out there are remarkable, but if there’s something we invest a lot of time and resources in, it’s our print quality. We provide premium-quality print editions alongside amazing-quality content, of course.

The one that has followed the submission guidelines and evokes so much emotion that it makes us accept all the pieces they send.

That we will accept multiple submissions or that we’ll consider submissions after they keep withdrawing their submissions.

We love to know the people submitting to our publication. We like to know who the person behind it is, what they write, what made them submit, and what made them write those specific pieces that they’re submitting. It makes the submissions more meaningful and personal.

Sometimes more than 20 times. Yes, every piece is read till the end, but there are pieces that scream “AI generated” in the beginning, but we still read them just to eliminate the possibility of our misjudgment.

There’s no other special evaluation.

Submission reading begins a week after we start receiving submissions when we first open the submission window. The submissions are read many, many times before a decision is made, and it can be overwhelming, especially if there’s a lingering rejection, because no one likes rejections, right? And it weighs heavy on me, but some decisions are to be made. It’s a great feeling that I can’t describe in words to read so many beautiful pieces that evoke so much emotion and intense feelings of relatability, happiness, sadness, and sometimes even anger when they’re AI-generated.

We don’t edit anything by ourselves at first. We contact the writers and ask them to make the necessary edits and changes. This is done to make sure the writers are informed of what is happening to their work and they can be a part of it as well. We do edit bios sometimes if they are too long; we edit if punctuation or grammar is not correct, but all is done by informing the writers accordingly.

We have not yet nominated for awards, but we have plans for doing so starting from this year.
