We care about heartfelt, honest, authentic, HUMAN writing more than so-called "craft" and our Editors have wicked and wild (and subversive) senses of humor. Too much writing out there says too little in too many words or it only says what everyone else is already saying. We aim to remedy that dismal fact. We think about the Future more than the Present when it comes to Art.

Have a sense of humor, understand that Art is a never-ending process and not a destination, don't be afraid, and send us something authentic. If it's real, we will know, and we will publish it.

A piece of Art that explores the Human Condition in some new way. All real art is about the artist. Don't be fancy or cute, be real. "They" are trying to destroy us and WE are gonna make sure that doesn't happen.

We are wide open and we don't judge so don't be scared.

YES, we care about cover letters, but we want them to be personal. We don't care about "credits." We want to know a lot about our Artists. And we want their Art to be about themselves, because that's what makes it authentic, especially in the current age we're living in. All interesting art is about the artist, from Ingmar Bergman to Emily Dickinson to Vincent Van Gogh to Pablo Picasso and many, many more.

We can tell whether we like it instantly. And we always give each piece our full attention, if it's authentic, genuine, real.

Both Editors are Advanced Artists who have spent decades honing their craft. We know what we like when we see it. Our evaluations are humanly intuitive.

Both Editors are also writers so we spend much of our time writing which means we understand, like, admire, and want to help other writers. Both Editors have dedicated their lives (literally) to art and artists. Every day is all about writing and writers (and artists). We're not interested in writers who are only in it for the money. We ARE interested in writers who NEED to write no matter what. Those are the kind of writers we are and so they are the kind of writers we like best.

The Artist her or himself is in charge of this kind of thing. Please do it BEFORE you submit. If something is riddled with errors, we will return it.

We nominate for the Pushcart and are looking into other avenues for this as well.

We promote it by posting it on the web and providing lavish commentary that boosts the author by stating eloquently what is best about their work. Both Editors comment on all works published on a daily basis with incisive praise and interesting asides that relate to the author's work and shed light upon it. Our commentary on our writers and artists makes us truly unique.
